Come and take part in an intergenerational music making journey that involves singing, moving to music, playing instruments and simply having fun together.
Join Kathy Lepp (MTA), a qualified, accredited music therapist, and trained Kindermusik educator will coordinate and implement a weekly, intergenerational music therapy program. These classes are designed to include Tots, Moms and/or Dads and long-term care residents from The Village of Riverside Glen supported by Village team members.
As the children's music-learning is nurtured, preschoolers, and their grownups also foster new and important relationships with "Grandfriends." Our Residents look forward to the lively visits, the chance to share memories, the opportunity to grow and create a harmonious music-making experience together. The additional cognitive, physical, and emotional benefits for participants make the intergenerational sessions a win-win for all.
