Wednesday morning is expected to bring freezing rain that will turn into heavy rainfall in the afternoon prompting two weather warnings in Waterloo region and Guelph.

Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning as well as a rainfall warning for Waterloo region, Guelph and Wellington County. 

Freezing rain is expected to hit east of Lake Huron Wednesday morning and move west, reaching central Ontario later in the afternoon. It will begin as snow and ice pellets before transitioning to ra…
