Other parts of province saw power outages due to ice earlier Saturday
CBC NewsA freezing rain warning is in effect for Waterloo region, Guelph and Wellington County for Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Environment Canada says sub-zero temperatures will create ice build-up and icy surfaces. Ice accretion of up to five millimetres is possible.
The warning comes after parts of Ontario saw power outages during the day on Saturday due to ice.
The forecast said Waterloo region would see a low of –1 C Saturday night into Sunday with a wind chill of –7 C.
