A Guelph man has been arrested for several charges including attempted murder after another man was attacked in his own home.

Just after 7 a.m. Tuesday morning, police were called for a disturbance inside a home near Woodlawn Road E. and Inverness Drive.

Police say they arrived while an assault was happening. They intervened and placed a suspect under arrest.
