The hot, hot heat that's been blanketing Waterloo region, Guelph and Wellington County this week is expected to come to an end later on Thursday.

Environment and Climate Change Canada issued a heat warning for the area earlier this week, warning temperatures would reach daytime highs of up to 34 C, feeling like up tp 42 C with humidity, and there would be little relief overnight.
