The City has granted the Qdst Slase Eritrean Orthodox Tewahdo Church an exemption from the City’s Noise Control Bylaw on July 13, 2025 from 6:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. for an annual Orthodox church celebration including traditional singing and drumming performances at 249 Edinburgh Road North, Guelph, Ontario. The exemption allows for noise from live music and noise from crowds.
If you are impacted by this exemption, you can request that Council review the approval of the noise exemption. Please submit your request by June 26, 2025, by emailing [email protected] or calling 519-822-1260 extension 2423.
