“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.”
It's impossible to deny there's a lot of truth behind that quote by Dr. Seuss. Reading and literacy skills are things we use every day, but often take for granted. On Jan. 27, Family Literacy Day, people are asked to pause and consider the importance of these skills and how we can help our children develop them. Essentially, family literacy is about the ways families use literacy and language in their daily lives.
